The fastest way to transform your smile is with professional whitening treatment. You can use it to finish off your orthodontic journey, or just to give your smile a mini makeover. Teeth whitening is a swift and effective way to change your look.

Why are my teeth stained?

Teeth naturally become more stained over time, but this can be sped up if you smoke, drink lots of coffee or tea, or eat foods with curry or tomato sauce often. The good news is that it’s easy for us to reverse tooth staining with whitening treatment.

Polanight professional whitening treatment

At Allstar Orthodontics, we use Polanight 10% whitening treatment. This professional treatment can be conveniently used at home. Just place a drop of whitening gel into every compartment of your custom trays and put the tray in your mouth for at least two hours (or overnight).

You may want to start with a two to four hour window to make sure your teeth aren’t too sensitive, but in general, the Polanight formula is very gentle on your teeth. The gel has a neutral pH and a unique blend of soothers and conditioners to greatly reduce sensitivity.

After using your teeth whitening treatment, just brush your teeth to clear away any leftover gel.

How long does whitening treatment last?

The duration of your results will depend on lifestyle choices such as smoking and diet. You can expect to need a top-up on treatment anywhere from 3 to 12 months.
