Connor’s Orthodontic Journey in Brisbane City

Take a look at Connor’s smile transformation journey. Connor is our patient from Brisbane City who was worried about his bite and alignment. His mother was very concerned about his dental issues, which led them to come to us after being referred by his general dentist.

After going on with Connor’s initial appointment, we discovered that aside from his teeth alignment, he had a traumatic overbite case. A traumatic overbite is where there is damage to the underlying periodontium or the hard tissues of the teeth involved.

In Connor’s case, we needed to help him fix his bite problem and avoid his overbite from causing further damage to his gums. So we decided to give him clear aligners with Class II elastics. The elastic allows the maxillary incisors to move backwards. These elastics will help adjust his jaw to achieve the bite he wants.
