5 Things That Make Allstar Orthodontics Different
Apr 18, 2024
Hi, I’m Dr Mike, from Allstar Orthodontics in Brisbane.
Last Tuesday, we had a new patient, Patrick, who came in with his mum, Charlotte. They recently relocated to Albany Creek.
After our initial consultation, she said she loved how different we were from her other kids’ orthodontist back in Sydney.
You know, as a business owner, that was probably one of the biggest compliments I could ever receive because that’s exactly what we set out to do.
- We’re able to provide orthodontic treatment using either conventional braces or Invisalign clear aligners, and we have a lot of experience. In fact, we have been looking after our patients for over 20 years.
For many years now we’ve been one of the top providers in Brisbane using clear aligners, and we’re also going to be having a new braces system coming out very soon where the braces are actually custom 3D printed for each individual tooth, and this is going to be an exciting new technology for us. - Talking about technology, we’ve always invested in the latest technology to help us in caring for our patients. One of the great aspects of this is using Dental Monitoring where the patients are able to take a video of their teeth every week and send it to us simply using an app on their smartphone and a scan box.
Together with using AI, I can monitor the progress closely and keep an eye on things. This also means, for the patients, they’ll only have to come to appointments when they actually need something done, and it helps shorten the treatment time overall.
The other technology that I mentioned earlier is called 3D LightForce. These braces are 3D-custom printed braces. They are customised to fit each tooth individually. This provides extreme accuracy, and will shorten the treatment time when patients have braces. This is the first time this has ever been done in the world, and we are proud to be one of the few practices to have this available in Australia.
- We also have two locations. One is in the inner city at Fortitude Valley, and the other is in the Northern suburbs in Albany Creek. So our patients have the flexibility to go to either of these practices, and if one location suits better, you can certainly change where you go to for any of your appointments.
- Our practice also sees a lot of value in giving back to the local community. We do this through sponsorship of sports clubs, especially swimming clubs. We also contribute to the Sony Camp, which is run by Marist College, and this is for children with disabilities. That’s held over the school holidays each year and we contribute to the running of these programs. It is important for us that we’re engaged with our community as much as we can and in various ways. We are very proud and very happy to be doing this for our community.
- The final reason why Allstar Orthodontics is different is because of our Patient First philosophy. Everything we do is meticulously designed to make our patients’ orthodontic experience Simple, Quick and Effective. We’re there for them for the whole course of their treatment.
So, if you’re looking for an orthodontist whose top priority is you, and you like the sound of our philosophy, we would love to look after you.
